Verganta Analytics displays publicly accessible information about organizations and completed procedures in the field of public procurement.
The data is prepared for research, analysis, and transparency purposes. It is provided for information purposes only and does not replace the original notice or any other legally binding documentation. The original information published by the competent authority remains authoritative at all times.
Data sources
The information displayed is obtained in particular from:
- TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), the online version of the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union,
- Austrian open-data sources, including sources accessible via data.gv.at.
These datasets are generally made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0). If you use or redistribute information from Verganta Analytics, you must comply with the license terms of the respective original source.

Verganta is not the publisher of the original data. We summarize public notices and present them in a clear format. Where available, the source of a procedure is displayed in the detail view.
Scope of the data displayed
Verganta Analytics contains information only about completed, awarded, closed, or canceled procurement procedures. Ongoing and open tenders are not displayed.
The organization search includes organizations that appear in the processed notices as procuring organizations, bidders, or contract awardees.
The following are not included in particular:
- procedures that have not yet been imported,
- unsupported sources or formats,
- non-public or confidential information,
- information that was not published in the original notice,
- data from Verganta Prime or other client-specific areas.
The available historical period depends on how long the relevant source has been processed. The dataset may be incomplete, particularly for earlier periods.
Missing information and analyses
Missing values in the source remain missing.
Information missing from the original source also remains missing in Verganta Analytics. Unpublished values are neither estimated nor replaced with default values or calculated placeholders.
Counts, totals, and other analyses are based exclusively on data that could be successfully processed and matched. They are provided for guidance only and do not constitute evidence that all published procurement procedures have been fully captured.
Data processing and data quality
The structure, spelling, level of detail, and quality of procurement notices may vary considerably depending on the publishing authority.
Verganta applies its own data-processing and quality-assurance procedures. These include in particular:
- identifying obvious duplicates,
- matching and consolidating companies and organizations,
- presenting published information in a structured format,
- identifying and correcting obviously incorrect or contradictory information,
- taking subsequent corrections to the original source into account.
This processing improves the usability of the data but cannot guarantee a complete or error-free presentation. In individual cases, duplicate entries, incorrect or ambiguous matches, and incorrect information from the original sources may still occur.
Verganta does not alter the underlying original notices. The internal technical procedures used for matching, consolidation, and data cleansing are not fully disclosed.
Known limitations
In particular, the following limitations should be taken into account when using the service:
- Quality and level of detail vary depending on the source and notice.
- Monetary amounts are generally displayed in the currency in which they were published.
- Links are displayed only where a sufficiently reliable match is possible.
- Text may be shortened in list and preview views.
- Changes to original notices may be incorporated with a delay.
In all cases, the complete original notice published by the relevant source remains authoritative.
Reporting possible data errors
Possible inconsistencies or incorrect matches may be reported by email to support@verganta.ai.
Verganta can review the presentation within its own application but cannot amend original notices published by third parties.
No warranty
Verganta Analytics is provided exclusively for information, research, and analysis purposes.
Despite careful processing, we do not provide any warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information displayed. In particular, it cannot be guaranteed that all notices have been processed, that all organizations have been uniquely matched, or that changes to the original sources are reflected immediately.
Decisions should not be made solely on the basis of the information displayed in Verganta Analytics. When reviewing a specific procurement procedure, the relevant original notice and, where appropriate, professional advice should be consulted.
